Lt Harold H. Thorson, who served with the 49th FG, 9th FS in January and February, 1945. He was a P-38 pilot and KIA on 19 February 1945 over Silay Aerodrome, Negros Island, PI. 

He may have been in Primary at Dos Palos, CA (Eagle Field) September, October, November 1943. He was in Basic November, December 1943, January 1944 at Marana, Az. He was at Williams Field, AZ for Advanced in January, February, March 1944. Commissioned 12 March in class 44-C.

Harold flew the P-39 at Victorville, CA, Salinas, CA and Moses Lake, WA and transitioned to the P-38 at Ontario, CA August, September, October 1944. He shipped overseas from Hamilton Field in November or December, 1944.

I would also like very much to hear from anyone who was in Class 44-C Williams Field.
